Abstract

Psychosociology, born with the T-Group and then developed through experiences of intervention within organizations, posed the problem of identifying and theoretically elaborating categories of analysis of social relations within different contexts. Psychosociology, a psychological movement that is psychoanalytically-oriented, has been proposed and developed since the fifties of the last century as an international and mostly European psychological area, where psychoanalysts working in this field have proposed models of analysis and intervention within social organizations. This work traces the author’s psychosociological experience, from several training and intervention activities; it presents both the historical context of development of the psychosociological movement and the theoretical and social contributions of its practice.
